Praia da Galé
This dream of a beach is surrounded by sandstone cliffs and bordered by the azure ocean. It is blessed with great waves for surfing and immaculately clear water. The extensive stretch of beach means that there is ample space, despite its popularity. Parking and restaurants can be found nearby, so there's no need to leave the beach.
Praia dos Salgados
Standing out from the other beaches in the area, Praia dos Salgados is known for its unique landscape. Here, you’ll find sandy dunes, ochre cliffs, and a variety of seabirds. In Salgados Lagoon, you'll find red herons, grassquits, caimans, and curlews nestling amongst the reeds. The beach is ideal for surfing and swimming.
