This is the largest urban park situated in the heart of the city. It features bowling greens, rose gardens, formal borders, a small pond, and a number of tennis courts. The park also has a velodrome, which is one of the oldest cycle tracks in the UK. Preston Park also hosts various annual events, including concerts, fairs, circuses, family days, and more.
If you and your dog are a fan of swimming, then you’ll love splashing about in the sea. Dogs are allowed on Brighton Beach or Cliff Beach from May through to September. From October through to April, dogs are allowed on all Brighton beaches.
The park has lots of space that can be used in different ways, such as walking your dog, playing football, or having a picnic on the grass. The main point of interest is perhaps the thousands of municipal bulbs that continuously change colour between the months of February and May, one of the most unique and dramatic floral displays in the country.
