Broughty Ferry is on Dundee's doorstep, but feels a world away from Scotland's third largest city. Developed in the 19th century as a seafront resort, it's a suburb that has it's own unique character. Shorefront amusements, pure flat sands, historical architecture and a busy town shopping centre make it a hugely appealing place to rent vacation accommodation. Add in proximity to Dundee and easy access to some of the world's greatest golf courses and a Broughty Ferry holiday cottage has a lot to offer.
We had a really lovely Easter break at West Deyne. The accommodation was pristine and the kitchen well equipped. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and we all slept well. The bathroom and accessible shower was perfect for my mum. The accommodation was central for all amenities including the beautiful new promenade stretching for miles along the coast line. There was a surprising element of boutique shopping and very good restaurants in the town. Tartan @ V&A Dundee is a must. See it if you can. Parking was outwith the property however there is ample parking in the street.
