This is one of the most popular bridges for crossing from one side of the city to the other. It was built in the 19th century and is a beautiful example of Victorian architecture. It offers several great spots for stopping to take photos with a backdrop of landmarks like the castle and Parliament.
This harrowing but fascinating museum will teach you about life in Hungary under communist and fascist rule. With vehicles and artefacts from the dark years of the 20th century, as well as accounts from those who lived through these periods, it's well worth visiting on your Budapest city break.
