Great place to stay. We stayed here for 8 days and it was lovely. Loads of birds coming in to the garden each day. The Lodge was lovely and clean and very modern.

The property was comfortable apart from needing a new mattress and bedding in the main bedroom. The lighting in the bathroom was poor. There were no spoons apart from three teaspoons; when requested shortly after arrival, none were delivered. Everything in the apartment in the overhead cupboards were above our reach. No parking pass was provided and when requested we were told it was not needed. In the week a parking fine was place on our car, we then had to contact the caretaker to sort the matter out which she dealt with promptly. There were various bits of food in all parts of the kitchen which should have been disposed of prior to our arrival. The photographs of the property on the web site gave us a false idea of the flat we were staying in.

Wbe thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay in the little Oast House. It was super clean, nicely furnished, comfortable - and cosy warm! Perfect for a couple. We were provided with a bottle of wine, bread, cereal, fruit juice and milk on our arrival, which was nice. I cannot think of anything negative to say!

Lovely place to stay for short weekend. We didn’t use the Lee valley activities or cafe. Due we spend all day outings and the transport was so easy and very good accessible to London by bus from start to ending. Would love to come back again one day. Only thing is too many spiders webs which need to be clean, also the door was difficult to open and close at the entrance of cottage. Need fix.
