Eating Out in Andalucia

The preferred mode of eating here is tapas, where small portions of food are ordered as needed in between cañas (small beers). Order a beer in the Granada region of Andalucia and you’ll typically get a free tapas dish. If in Seville, make sure you get your tapas at El Rinconcillo, the oldest tapas bar in Spain and quite possibly the world. Note that eating times are well established in Andalucia and restaurants tend to close between 4pm and 8:30pm.
