Enjoy traditional Bathgate events

Bathgate hosts the Bathgate Procession and John Newland Festival, a parade and celebration that has been taking place in the West Lothian town since 1844. Celebrating the benefactor who established the Bathgate Academy, it now celebrates all aspects of local life, with pageants, live music and entertainment, and food stalls. The event takes place each year on the first Saturday in June.
