Subterranean streets and the Moravian Museum

Gardens and functionalism

Lužánky park is the oldest in the country, founded in 1786 by Emperor Joseph II. You can also visit Mendel University’s botanical garden, which has around 7,000 thousand species of plants. Meanwhile, Denis Gardens offers one of the best views of Brno, and hosts the annual firework competition, Ignis Brunensis, in June. Don't miss Villa Tugendhat, constructed in the functionalist style and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
