A Feast for the Architectural Eye

For anyone interested in 19th century architecture, Hove will be a dream. An easy and enjoyable afternoon activity is to simply stroll down the promenade, taking in the various mammoth regency crescents, with their shapely townhouses and well-groomed gardens. Adelaide Crescent is the best known - and who knows, maybe there's even free accommodation or a holiday cottage in there.

For those looking for something artier, the Cameron Contemporary Art Gallery is an excellent option. The art on display is often from local artists and the exhibitions are constantly changing. Easily reachable from any accommodation by bus or on foot.
