There are about six excellent bars in town, including the inevitable Irish pub, a great tapas joint, and even a Bowling Bar, where pins replace pistes while skiers unwind.

5. Reaching Les Gets is simple.

   The final thing to know about Les Gets is that few resorts are more user-friendly. All of the cable cars are within easy reach of the main accommodation. The village is small, and everything skiers need is there. And the transfer from Geneva is relatively quick, which is a huge bonus for people who can't wait to throw themselves down the Yeti.
