With an altitude range of 2,900 meters, Livigno is one of the highest Italian skiing resorts. Ski season starts on November 30th and ends on May 3rd. It has 32 lifts including 14 chairlifts, 12 T-bar lifts, and 6 gondolas. There are 78 ski pistes with a total length of 115 kilometres, and the longest ski piste is 2 kilometres long. The resort has 2 snowparks and allows 4 hours of night skiing.
Carosello 3000

Livigno has two separate ski areas. Carosello 3000 is the bigger ski area. It is located on the Vetta Blesaccia and Costaccia mountains, and its chair lifts elevate skiers up to 2,800 metres. Its wide and sunlit slopes are excellent for ski carving. The fun slope and snowpark are perfect for beginners. Carosello 3000 is close to the main street, so you can ski directly from the mountain top to shops or your hotel.
Mottolino Fun Mountain

This is the second ski area of Livigno. While it is far from the main street, a ski bus shuttles skiers from the town to the mountaintop. At the highest point, the Mottolino ski area is 2,500 metres. Its ski runs are more difficult and longer, making it ideal for intermediates and professionals. If you love snowboarding, you will love the expansive snowpark on this side of Livigno.
