This three kilometre white beach is divided between two coastal towns, and ideal for families. The perfection of the waters is hardly broken by a single wave, and there is a sailing school where you can hire a boat and glide blissfully along the shore.

Cala Murta

Situated on the peninsula of Formentur in the northern part of the island, Cala Murta is a secluded beach, ringed with stunning cliffs and verdant plants. The nearest town is 14 kilometres away. The water here is crystal clear, so bring a snorkel.

Puig de Mari

This 333 metre high mountain is the site of a 14th century monastery. Above is an even older chapel, where you can enjoy breathtaking views over the Balearic. There is also a picnic area nearby, so you and the family can explore to your hearts' content, without missing creature comforts.

Alcudia Beach
