1. Getting there
Twickenham Stadium is in south west London. Parking at the stadium is limited and public transport is the best option, especially on match days. Catch a train from Waterloo, which also connects with the rest of the London Underground network.

Twickenham is the largest rugby stadium in the world and a behind the scenes tour takes visitors to the Royal Box, the dressing room, pitchside and the famous tunnel. Tours run three times a day and advance booking is essential as places are limited on each tour.

A visit to the World Rugby Museum is included in the stadium tour but it can also be visited separately. The museum houses a collection of 38,000 objects, with famous artefacts such as the Calcullta cup and the world's oldest football jersey.

Twickenham Stadium is in a quiet, leafy London suburb but the attractions of the big city are just a short train drive away. Don't immediately rush back into the city centre though, as this part of London has a lot to offer.
