    At 3,000 metres, Ylläs has the longest ski run in Europe, and is the largest ski resort in Lapland. It has a vertical drop of 463 metres and offers some of the most spectacular scenery of all Finland's ski resorts. The resort has over 200 miles of cross-country trails and offers a dramatic landscape perfect for reindeer and dog sledding, ice fishing, and snowmobiles. Ylläs ​has 63 slopes and 29 ski lifts, most of which are ideal for beginners. There are snow parks for kids and beginners and several off-piste attractions for adults and the whole family.

    With around 200 days of snow per year, Ruka is considered one of the best Nordic ski resorts. It offers well-preserved natural landscapes and many opportunities to see the country's biodiversity. Ruka has 34 slopes and 21 lifts, allowing skiers and snowboarders explore the fascinating Finnish wilderness of Eastern Lapland. From circuitous cross-country ski tracks, pristine rivers, to magnificent hills, Ruka offers an exciting skiing holiday for families and solo travellers.

    Conveniently located within easy reach of Rovaniemi, the capital of Lapland, Pyhä is a beautiful ski resort surrounded by the breathtaking Pyhä-Luosto National Park. With nine lifts and 14 slopes, Pyhä is excellent for skiing and walking. There are several cross-country tracks that cut through the national park and many off-piste routes for nature lovers and beginners.

    With an impressive 230 kilometres of cross-country skiing tracks, Levi is Finland's largest ski and recreational resort. It offers 45 slopes ideal for beginners, intermediates, and experts, and 27 miles of piste. Your family can stay in beautiful log cabins and glass igloos while enjoying the warm village atmosphere. The resort hosts alpine world cup races every November.
