Such a spacious, spotless and totally refurbished apartment in a great area. The apartment is very well equipped and everything is completed to a high standard. Bedlinen and towels are of excellent quality. There’s nothing to want for. The complex pools are so handy and the sea views from them are uninterrupted. The agency was helpful responding quickly when we requested an early check in and we needed dishwasher salt. Love the Lido area as lots of great restaurants and plenty of lovely walks nearby. Funchal an easy 25 minute stroll or 5 minute taxi drive. Highly recommend this apartment.

We absolutely LOVED Villa Luzia. The pictures don't do the place justice. From waking up in the uber-comfortable Carpe Diem beds to watching Funchal transform into a big bowl of glimmering lights as you spend hours gazing out to sea from the terrace at night, our days spent here were an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. As we were a group of friends, we particularly appreciated that all bedrooms at the villa was similarly comfortable and and, as we love cooking, we loved the exceptionally well equipped kitchens (yes, two!). The pool was kept at a comfortable temperature all week and there were plenty of sun loungers for everyone. We can't wait to come back.

Awesome location, super clean, good price! This place is right in the middle of Funchal, you couldn’t hand pick a better location. We had no issues finding parking on the street for free all week long. Wifi was fast, the AC worked well, and the tv is a smart tv (so you can use Netflix, Disney+, etc). Finding the place was the only difficultly but the host was ready to respond at all times on WhatsApp, even answering calls around midnight as we searched for the door.

Great location, lovely villa very clean. Unfortunately they had relined the pool so it was not ready for when we arrived (2 days unuseable). Two bathrooms plus kitchen where unindated with ants. We came home one day to find we had a powercut which caused a fault on alarm system. Rep came out straight away to try to rectify it. Would stay again.
