We thoroughly enjoyed our 1-week stay in the Kuckucks-Lockennest! The flat was spacious, the beds were excellent and the furniture inside and outside was comfortable. The kitchen had everything what one might need - even for baking a cake! Everything was very clean and practical. The views from the living and dining rooms are lovely and the hilltops along the scenic B500 road (Schwarzwaldhochstraße) are just a short drive away. There are many great walks along the tops and in the valleys. The access to the flat is down a set of steps, as the house is on a steep hillside (in common with many towns and villages in the area, which of course also makes for lots of good views). The WIFI connection was ok, i. e. in line with the current German connection speeds. These will improve in a couple of years as the whole of the country is currently being connected to glassfibre cables. To conclude: It was a great stay and we highly recommend it.

Excellent and very helpful hosts especially with washing when we arrived. House was perfect for our needs. Lovely area peaceful for quiet and relaxing break. BBQ available with plenty of outdoor seating. Good WiFi, Smart TV and radio. Kitchen has plenty of utensils. Dogs loved the area and walking round the village. This home is very nice, very good, clean, well furnished and complete. You can find everything you need for your stay. We were allowed to use the garden. There is a good and nice welcome package (Chocola, cheese, cake, wine,...etc). We will definitely visit this house again.
