Occupying the north-western tip of Devon in southwest England, Hartland is a historic town with a surprising amount of craft shops and attractions. You can easily spend a few days wandering around the town and the rural surroundings, mixing up museums, historic homes and delicious Devon cream teas. But it's the coastline near Hartland accommodation that really stands out. Remote and wild, it mixes rocky outcrops with stunning bays. Visitors can walk dramatic cliff paths or settle down on sandy strands, all within a few miles of a comfortable holiday cottage.
An enjoyable stay at ParkVie. We were able to do the some walks from the door and also drove shortish distances to visit Rosemoor Gardens and and walk on the coastal path. The weather was a mixture of wind, rain and sun. Beautiful scenery. Friendly owner and the village was welcoming. Good food at the Hart Inn and The Kings Arms.
