The cottage is lovely, everything looked great and high quality however the smell of either fabric softener or air fresheners, especially upstairs in the bedrooms was overbearing. A little bit disappointing that there was not a single tea bag nor a little bit of coffee for initial arrival. The check in is from 4pm and it would be a nice gesture if there was something people could make a drink of after a journey without the need to go to a shop first or bringing it with them. The fact that I had to strip the beds at the end of our stay and clean the log burner was also disappointing. Parking isn’t great and sofa in the lounge seen better days. Overall, great location, clean, warm.
