Playa Blanca is a luxury resort town in the south of Lanzarote. "Playa Blanca" is Spanish for "white beach" and the town lives up to its name with stretches of sun-kissed white sand to explore. The main beach has Blue Flag status, beautiful villas and a picturesque marina for yacht mooring.
After a visit to the marina for fishing, diving or sailing, travellers can visit designer boutiques, sample gourmet meals and sip cocktails while marvelling at the sea view. Relaxing in one of the many bars on the marina rounds off the day and the area offers numerous 5-star hotels and luxurious accommodation.
This park offers a moon-like volcanic landscape with plenty of excellent eateries to enjoy and was once used to train the Apollo 17 crew - adding to its historic status. Luxury accommodation can be found in and around the park and you can embark on a camel safari, discover the top of the volcano in a comfortable coach tour, and enjoy one of the nearby spa hotels, gyms, and tennis courts. Alternatively, you can simply enjoy sipping cocktails at the pool while letting the world pass you by.
An interesting volcanic tunnel and caverns are made comfortable with a unique underground concert hall and cave-embedded restaurant serving international cuisine located next to a clear salt lake. Music performances and cultural events are held here each year.
