Royal Albert Hall's series of summer music concerts is the Proms, which is one of Britain's greatest classical music festivals. The Proms season typically runs from mid-July to early September. Royal Albert Hall Prom concerts include music from composers such as Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky and Wagner. The Last Night of the Proms is the season's grand finale, where the audience sings 'Rule, Britannia!'
The hall includes a variety of restaurants and bars that usually open a couple of hours before each show. Tuck into some delicious classic British dishes and sip cocktails at Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Bar & Grill. Verdi restaurant serves up sumptuous Italian cuisine and afternoon tea with clotted cream scones, while the Arena Bar serves light meals and snacks, such as the Arena Burger and lobster roll, as well as ice-cold Heineken beers, cocktails, martinis and non-alcoholic mocktails.
There are regular guided tours of the concert hall available. The grand tour shows groups around the amazing auditorium and Queen's box. Alternatively, you can take a tour and dine at Royal Albert Hall with the tour and meal package.
