Find all the Masham Swifts
As part of an art project in 2015, ten small swifts were made by four artists. They're dotted around the market town. Spend the day away from your holiday accommodation trying to spot them all, while taking in the quaint centre of town. Try and pair it up with a trip to the Masham Farmer's Market for the chance to buy some local produce.

Grab a delicious local pint
Thorough-bread Yorkshireman Paul Theakston opened Black Sheep Brewery in 1992, and his sons are still in charge today. Their Bar & Kitchen is open for guests, or you can take a tour of the brewery to sample some of their eclectic, innovative beers. Make sure you pick up some beer to take back to your holiday cottage.
