Honeymoons in New York City: Top Holiday Lettings
What To Know Before You Go On Your New York City Honeymoon
You can never hope to see everything New York City has to offer in one trip, so it's best to decide on a few things in advance that are important to you and your partner. Find a few activities that will bring both of you joy, as you fall further in love with each other in this romantic city.
1. Book a tour
The city is huge. Booking a tour on one of the double-decker buses might seem obvious, but it's a great way to see a big swath of Manhattan and give your feet a rest!
2. Explore Museum Mile
This stretch of Fifth Avenue on the Upper East Side is where you'll find the Met, the Guggenheim, the Frick, and numerous other incredible and historic museums. Pick a few must-sees in advance and then make your way up or down the stretch.
3. Spend a day in Central Park
Walk along the many paths in the park, around the reservoir, and over its most picturesque bridges. Pack a picnic and eat in Sheep's Meadow or near the Ramble.
4. Plan a romantic dinner
New York, of course, is home to some of the best restaurants in the world. As such, it's a good idea to make reservations in advance for some of the most popular options. For dinner with a view, try the Riverside Cafe in Brooklyn, or on Manhattan's West Side, the rooftop bar and restaurant Gallow Green.
