The resort offers a large children's area, ski school, and snow parks. There are 20 lifts and 50 ski slopes in the area, so you're sure to find a few runs that you'll enjoy. A number of luxury hotels can be found in the area, and there are plenty of holiday apartments to rent for larger groups.

  3. Hafjell

    An adventure park and ski resort that was the site of the slalom events for 1994 Winter Olympics. You can try a run down the Olympic slope, to be sure, but there are also more than 40km of ski slopes and over 30 runs. This is a popular resort for snowboarding, tobogganing, and off-piste skiing.
