‘My wife and I stayed in The Bungalow Burnley for a week. It was a lovely little bungalow. Perfect for us to explore the countryside around. We would highly recommend this 4 star accommodation. The owners have a beautiful garden which was a pleasure. The accommodation itself was so clean and comfortable with everything at hand. We will certainly recommend it to our family and friend. Thank you’

‘My family of 4 and I stayed here in mid July to be close to my friends wedding which was in the next town, Elvington. It was a very clean well equipped cottage. It is within 10 minutes of downtown York and within a few minutes of Pocklington which was another village we visited. Lynne was an absolutely wonderful hostess as well. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone as a good place to stay.’

‘Located 400 yards from the beach and a similar distance to the spectacular Nefyn Golf Club, this is a really good place to stay. Modern with very good facilities and within walking distance of the shops, the famous Ty Coch pub and Cliffs Inn. Fantastic for keen golfers with other courses such as Pwhelli, Abersoch, Harlech and Conwy not far away at all. Some fantastic walks along the coastal paths and some wonderful beaches not too far down the coast such as Porth Iago and Whistling Sands. Morfa Nefyn is perfect for families. This is a great base and only 2 hours on a good day from Manchester/Liverpool. I would definitely book this again.’

‘I live on Exmoor so I like to choose special places to holiday! The bungalow was really comfortable and dog friendly, lovely alpacas just outide the well fenced garden boundary, kept us entertained. I am not quite sure who was watching whom really! They would watch us moving around the dining room/lounge and showed great interest if we were washing up in the kitchen! Delightful animals. The beds were comfortable, and we were cosy and warm. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The owners were very welcoming and left some very welcome goodies for our arrival. I particularly enjoye walking from the door with my dog. There was direct access to the Moorland. Out and about there are some interesting places to visit. We enjoyed. Cleobury Mortimer, Ludlow, Cosford Aircraft Museum, Clun, Stokesay Castle, Tenbury Wells and lots of places in between. There is a vast amount info. available in the bungalow. To be honest, I think we would have enjoyed a second week! Would we rent this again? Definitely.’

‘This was a flying visit of just three days during Crufts but we would have loved to have stayed longer. The Bungalow is clean, spacious, airy and very well equipped. We had an excellent nights sleep. The beds were very comfortable. The outlook is very scenic, made even better by the presence of the Alpaca's! The owners are such a nice welcoming couple. They even provided a fresh fruit bowl, bottle of wine (much appreciated!), fresh eggs and milk. A great place to stay.’

‘Wonderful greeting and welcome pack from our hosts Beverley and David Page, also from Fern and Nessie their friendly dogs. This is a well appointed bungalow with everything we needed for a relaxing holiday, including the fresh vegetables, eggs etc to purchase. The pool at the rear was well used giving us a refreshing start and end to our days out. We had the perfect base for touring the local area with Flatford Mill, Dedham and Shotley within easy driving distance. To top it all off we had glorious sunshine all week long. A great big thank you to Bev and David for making us so welcome!’

‘We had a perfect week at the bungalow, we were very lucky with the weather! The owners are absolutely charming, nothing was too much trouble, and a super welcome pack, that was unexpected. The bungalow was immaculate, fresh and clean. The kitchen has been newly refurbished and contains all you need. We found ourselves eating a meal at the table by the pool most nights as all the fresh air and walking tired us out! The pool is large and clean and right next to the bungalow. The bungalow was far more spacious than I had anticipated, and the super King size bed was also super comfortable! Nothing to fault whatsoever. Thank you so much Dave and Bev.’

‘The Bungalow was extremely comfortable and ideally designed for us & my 90 year old Mum; with 2 double bedrooms next to each other; these both had their own shower room & toilet. Each bedroom had double aspect windows & doors out into the garden as did the lounge. The owner was extremely pleasant and always available should we need any help but otherwise unobtrusive save bumping into them whilst walking. There is lots of information booklets & suggestions of places to visit. The scenery as we drove through the National Park was lovely & with the sheep very peaceful to observe.’

‘This was a lovely cottage in Suffolk. The owners are friendly and helpful and made our stay a real pleasure. The cottage was spotless and very comfortable in nice surroundings. An excellent welcome pack too. We used the pool on three hot days -great! There are free-range eggs, veg and honey to buy too. You can walk by the lake and see kingfishers. TV's Jimmy's farm is only a couple of minutes up the road and it is very close to Flatford Mill and DedhamVale, and not far to Aldeburgh -a lovely seaside small town. We really loved Pin Mill by the River Orwell. We also visited the Beth Chatto gardens near Colchester.’

‘This was a most excelent cottage, it had everything we needed and more. It was more out of the way than we usually stay in or so we thought when trying to get there following the SatNav (taking us down all the narrow roads and tracks) but really was only 4 miles from a small town with all the amenaties needed. The cottage itself had 4 really good sized bedrooms with really really comfortable beds, so much so you really dont want to get out. the gardens both fornt and back were great for letting the dogs run around and play, ours were having a daily 'chat' with the owners dogs. The kitchen was very well equiped and the welcome pack that was left was greatly appreciated, loads of fruit, eggs and milk. We found an great little pub for meals which we visited nightly, The Stables Tavern in Cleobury Mortimer. It is out off the way and we only found it when we were looking for a car park for the pub (The Talbot Hotel). The meals were big and tasty and not expensive. The bungalow ideally situated to visit many places of interest including Ludlow with its many Tudor Houses and its castle, the countryside is lovely just to drive around in. We also visited Llandrindod Wells in Wales which is a nice little spa town and found a little cafe by the lake (The Lakehouse) where we stopped to have lunch, again a great find as it the food was very good. Although on the day we went it was raining but was still a nice trip. I would highly reccommend this cottage/bungalow and will be visiting again sometime in the future.’
