‘Ros Vale is everything you could want from a holiday house. It is spacious, warm well equipped and pet friendly. The beds are comfortable and I, being arthritic am very fussy about beds. The house would be good for all ages. I am in my eighties but with a downstairs en suite bedroom had no problems. The decor is modern, the kitchen is to die for. I cannot praise it too highly.’

‘This large, comfortable house has everything we needed for a very relaxing holiday. It is positioned minutes away from the Cornish coast path, and a few miles from Penzance. The rooms are beautifully furnished, we spent much of time in the conservatory area which overlooks the garden, is beautifully light and spacious and ideal for entertaining. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery and glassware for a large group with lots of lovely gadgets including a boiling water tap and a warming drawer! The en-suite bathrooms all have showers and lovely soft, fluffy towels. The mattresses are very comfortable with good quality bedding. The whole house was very clean and tidy with the addition of a beautiful welcome basket full of Cornish branded produce. There is a well equipped utility room with great laundry facilities, plenty of space for hanging coats and taking off muddy boots. There is a large table in the garden, perfect for alfresco dining and enjoying the warmer evenings with friends. Plenty of parking for six cars in the driveway too. All in all we loved our stay and will definitely look to book again. Thank you to the hosts for sharing their wonderful home.’

‘Great family accommodation, with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Lovely walk through woods to a shingle beach/ coastal footpath where we spent an afternoon picking blackberries before making crumble from the apple windfalls in the garden and blackberries!’

‘Just came back from this place two days early, as cannot sleep in a seesaw or hammock, as one of the bed is just two pieces of MDF board sitting inside a frame and swing like swing when you move while sleeping to change side etc.... it has ruined the birthday week of my partner... btw we are from Cornwall and we can cope with bad weather. would not recommend this place at all.... would be writing to Sykes holidays as well...’
