Enveloped by working farms and scenic greenery whilst boasting an interior full of traditional charm, Ley Mill Farm makes an excellent base for a staycation in the country. Park up at the foot of this lovely, white-washed dwelling before unloading your bags and making your way inside, discarding of any coats and shoes in the hallway to make yourself at home. Moving through the property, be charmed by the delightful cor of the open-plan kitchen/diner, beautifully-appointed with exposed wooden beams, an elegant island and a grand dining table, providing the perfect sociable space to gather together with your loved ones as the designated chef prepares a range of tasty treats. In the summer months, make mealtimes an alfresco affair and fire up the barbeque in the garden, where the surrounding greenery provides a truly tranquil spot to enjoy some long overdue quality time together. As the evening grows darker, retreat indoors where you'll find the first of five double bedrooms settled on the ground floor alongside a handy shower room, ideal for guests with limited mobility. Moving to the first floor you'll discover four further double bedrooms, each thoughtfully laid-out with ample storage space to unpack your belongings, with two benefiting from access to their own en-suites. Completing this fabulous abode is the contemporary family bathroom, equipped with both a bath and a walk-in shower cubicle, giving guests the choice between a blissful soak amongst the bubbles and a rejuvenating rinse under the shower head. Take advantage of your peaceful countryside location with a stroll along the banks of Ley Brook, where the peaceful flow of water provides the perfect setting to skim stones or indulge in a hearty picnic. For the days when you don't fancy cooking, try the nearby pubs, in Westbury on Severn, Huntley and Blaisdon is the perfect choice for an indulgent bite to eat. Here, you will also find Huntley Quarry, which houses a volcaniclastic suite of rocks, which will become the first geology reserve in the county. Within 8.5 miles is the city of Gloucester, where you will find a larger selection of amenities and attractions including The Docks, the St Oswald's Priory, and the 11th century Cathedral with the tomb of King Edward II.
