The resort is a hot spot for visitors between November and April, when the snow and ice are thickest, and is ideal for a skiing excursion.

  3. Transalpina Ski Resort

    This resort is located in Valcea County. It offers about seven ski slopes placed at an altitude of 6365 feet and is solely for beginners and intermediate skiers.
