Once a thriving cross-channel trading port, the East Sussex town of Seaford is much less commercial nowadays. Instead, it's a laid back resort with coastal appeal and plenty of historical and cultural attractions on its doorstep. Accommodation here is a fine base for cycling in the South Downs, clifftop hiking breaks, or even classic beach vacations. There's Eastbourne to the east - one of the classiest resorts in southern England and Brighton to the west. So with a Seaford holiday cottage you can mix chilled out relaxation and vibrant nightlife.
