The cave houses at Chinamada village are some of the most peculiar sights in Tenerife. Meet the troglodyte community that occupies the modernised cave houses, most of which are built underground. Afterwards, take a refreshing walk in the surrounding fields planted with potatoes.

Spend a day with your family in a lovely park inside the biggest zoo in southern Tenerife. It has been developed like a natural jungle to give a close-up experience with animals. Stroll in the walking paths, suspension bridges, and tunnels. Venture also into the caves, lagoons, and waterfalls.

A trip to Puerto de la Cruz guarantees spectacular sunsets on the palm-filled promenade. There are natural swimming pools where you can jump off the rocks and dive into the lively ocean waves.

The Acantilados de Los Gigantes (which translates to the cliffs of Los Gigantes town), are found near Los Guios Beach. To get the best panorama of the mountains at dusk, walk uphill to the best lookup point, Mirador de Archipenque. You will also capture stunning views of the neighbouring island of La Gomera, so don't forget to bring your camera!
