Mapped: The UK's Top Trending Cosy Corners

More about the UK's Top Trending Cosy Corners

England’s top trending cosy corner: Beer

Perched on Devon's Jurassic Coast (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the village of Beer is an undeniably scenic spot. Set against white chalk cliffs and boasting a shingle beach, it’s a superlative starting point for walks by the sea, with establishments such as the Bay View Tea Rooms and Anchor Inn serving up sustenance with which to warm up after a wander.

Wales’ top trending cosy corner: Betws-y-Coed

This picture-perfect village is a North Wales gem, encircled by the towering trees of Gwydyr Forest in the Snowdonia National Park. The stunning Swallow Falls and Tŷ Hyll - the “Ugly House” - are two nearby must-visit spots. Stop by the latter to see the mysterious and (despite its name) charming stone cottage, the gardens of which are open all year round.

Northern Ireland’s top trending cosy corner: Castlerock

Situated in the Binevenagh Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Castlerock is surrounded by sights of unspoilt countryside and rugged coastline. Visit Mussenden Temple to take in the spectacular clifftop views, before picking up a hot drink from the friendly Rock Craft and Coffee, and heading down to the village’s award-winning, kilometre-long sandy beach.

Scotland’s top trending cosy corner: Arisaig

This west coast village on the shore of Loch nan Ceal is an idyllic destination for snug stays during the colder months. Enjoy moments of tranquility while watching boats bob in the marina, which has a cafe serving soups, waffles, pumpkin spice lattes, and more, or learn more about the history and wildlife of the area at the community-driven Land, Sea, and Islands Centre.
